Amazon will license Adept's technology, including multimodal models and datasets, under a non-exclusive agreement to enhance its digital agent capabilities. Adept, founded in 2022 by former OpenAI and Google engineers, was valued at over $1B in early 2023 and is known for developing AI agents that can perform complex tasks without human assistance.
